Advertising rates and options:

We here at geekculture.com and The Joy of Tech try to make advertising as pleasant as possible for our fans. We've blocked pop-ups and other annoying ads for over a decade now, and do our best to avoid new forms of AD-nnoyment as the marketing industry invents them. We are moving away from 3rd party ad servers, and hope to soon make all of the ads on our site simple, non-intrusive, elegant, relevant, and to have a direct relationship with our sponsors, not deal through middlemen who, let's be honest, tend not to care much about our audience.

When you sponsor our work, we set up the ads to be hosted locally, with basic HTML coding (no javascript, etc), in order to ensure your ad is seen and not automatically blocked. We feature your ad in our RSS feed, on Twitter, Facebook, G+, and as a sponsored post on our homepage. We let our fans know your company is helping us bring them their favorite comics.

JoT ad special: A healthy sized ad (250 x 250ish) in the sidebar beside the comic, hosted locally, with HTML coding (no javascript, etc). We also feature your sponsorship on our Twitter feeds, on Facebook, on G+, and in a sponsored post on our Geekculture.com homepage.  A promotional post from the sponsor appears in the Joy of Tech RSS feed at the start of each week, again in the Tuesday night update, and we also thank the sponsor in the Friday updates! It's an incredible value!
only $485 per week, two weeks for $920, or $1650 per month!

Cloudflare tells us there were over 123,000 unique visitors to geekculture.com and The Joy of Tech last month. To schedule a sponsorship, either a banner ad campaign of any kind, an exclusive sponsorship of the Joy of Tech comic, or for additional information, email Snaggy. You can also check out our other rates here.

Week and month-long sponsorships are also available for The Joy of Tech's syndicated feeds (RSS). A promotional item from the sponsor will appear in the feed three times during the week, and we'll also post a blog post thanking the sponsor on our home pager as well as on Twitter, Facebook, and G+

For additional information, email Snaggy.

So... what are you waiting for? Your customers are right here, right now, waiting to be impressed upon. Check out other tech sites, and you'll find our rates are extremely competitive! We can deliver the exposure you want for less... so why pay more for the same eyeballs? If you're interested in a custom campaign or an ad that is unique in size or presentation, we can customize a package to your liking. Email us to get started on your custom campaign. We particularly like working with smaller companies and developers, as we love to make web advertising available to smaller start-ups, and we try our best to make each campaign as successful as possible.
