The JoyPoll was...

What level of geek glee are you feeling for these new Apple M1 chips?

  • I'm still unaware of the new M1 chips, but I have a feeling I will experience some geek glee upon doing a little research.
  • I'm at a high level of geek glee.
  • I'm at a level of Geek Glee that is significantly higher at every power level when compared with my previous Intel chip Geek Glee.
  • I'm so excited that my fans are going full blast!

About us...

The Joy of Tech is a comic about technology and pop culture, created by Nitrozac and Snaggy, and updated two or three times a week. We like to feature the people and events that are making today's tech and pop culture news.

We've been making comics on the web since early 1999, starting off with After Y2K, and then The Joy of Tech, which is now in its whoa... 20th year!

We currently live on Vancouver Island, Canada, where we have a lovely perspective of the silicon valleys to the south. We make The Joy of Tech using Apple computers, mostly on a MacBook Pro and iMac, running Mac OS X. We use software from Apple, Adobe, BBedit, OpenOffice.org, and other fine purveyors of digital delights. Nitrozac uses a Wacom tablet to draw her illustrations.

There are many ways to support our work and keep the comics coming,
